This is because the original 100 baht banknote has only one color of red embossed ink. It has also been used for 20 years, so many banknotes have been counterfeited. Therefore, the government has issued a 100 baht banknote, type 10 that is more difficult to counterfeit. Blue embossed line ink has been added and multiple color interpolation is printed. It is reinforced with clear, stable lines embedded in the paper and has a small text that says Thailand periodically in stable texture.

Series 10 banknotes, issued in single denomination, 100 baht, were announced on May 16, 1968. They are banknotes printed by Thomas De La Rue
