Thai Banknote, 10 Baht (5th Series Type 9), the King Rama IX, unused
**The banknote number may not be the same as the picture, but the condition is not the same. International Guarantee of Authenticity**The 10 Baht Series 5 Series 9 banknotes are similar in appearance to the 4th Series 10 Baht banknotes , but the change is to use the portrait of King Rama IX as a watermark instead of the constitution as it was before. Since the banknotes 1-4 , the important feature that is easy to notice of the 10 baht banknotes, the 5th series is the portrait of His Majesty King Rama IX, which is a picture of his majesty, which is also known as the old face, and the banknote number is printed in black ink. There is no orthography on the word banknote. When lifting, you can see the watermark of King Rama IX’s portrait and see the metal-coated fiber strips embedded vertically on the banknotes. This 10 baht banknote, Series 5, 9 was announced on 27 June 1957 .
8.70 x 14.70 centimeters , letters and numbers category D 71 – M 100, M 1 – M 100, M 1 – M 100, M 1 – M 623 and M 900 – M 905 front banknote The main image is a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the reign of King Rama IX, in the uniform on the left. There is an image of Garuda in the upper middle. There is an image of a three-headed Irapod elephant in the lower right corner. There is an illustration in the middle position is the Mahakan Fort. Letters and banknote numbers are printed in black ink. The word banknote has no orthography. When lifted, the metal coated fibers can be seen vertically embedded. and the watermark of the King Rama IX portrait on the reverse side The main image is an image of the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall in a frame surrounded by bougainvillea patterns. The penalty for counterfeiting is printed in the bottom center.
The notification message for counterfeiting of banknotes has been changed. The original penalty was written as “The penalty for counterfeiting or altering banknotes is imprisonment from ten years to life and a fine from thousand baht to ten thousand baht or or ten times the price of the counterfeit banknotes, whichever is greater.” “Forgery or counterfeiting of banknotes is life imprisonment or imprisonment for a maximum of twenty years and a fine of up to forty thousand baht” is a change in accordance with the Penal Code that came into force on January 1, 1957
