The 1 Baht Banknote Series 2 Series 9 has the same appearance as the 1 Baht Banknote Series 1  but has a different part which is the letter and number category printed in black ink.

An important highlight that is easy to notice of the 2nd batch of 1 baht banknotes is the portrait of King Rama IX, a portrait of his youth, known as young monk and banknote numbers printed in black ink constitutional watermark No metal-coated fibers embedded in the paper.
