Description
- As a legal tender release by Niue, the reverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions include, “ELIZABETH II. NIUE. TWO DOLLARS. 2021.”
- The obverse features a highly detailed image of a crowned head of a lion with his full attention on you. His mouth is open wide, issuing a bold roar of authority over his realm.
- His handsome mane falling in curls around his face slightly softens his fierceness. Upon his brow rests his crown. However, this is not just any crown. Displayed on the band of the crown are the inscriptions, “SEND OUT YOUR LIGHT AND YOUR TRUTH.”.
