Description
The design by Curtis Atwater presents a portrait of a northern pike lying in wait for prey among underwater foliage. The pike is viewed from the left side, the snout, speckled body, large jaw and fins are rendered detail. This coin includes special edge lettering that lists the coin’s metal weight and purity: “9999 Fine Silver 1 oz 9999 Argent pur 1 oz”. The coin is double struck with the Royal Canadian Mint’s highest quality proof finish, and weighs just over one full ounce of .9999 fine silver.
