The Sistine Chapel ceiling, Michelangelo’s masterpiece, is entirely depicted on the Nano Chip embedded in the coin. Onto the size of a fingernail, a very high-resolution image is engraved with the technology of microelectronics on an ultra-planar Nano Chip, produced in a dust-free environment out of high-purity quartz in an extreme vacuum. Mintage is limited to 999 pcs only! The coin depicts The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo, the most famous painting found in the Sistine Chapel and also one of the most famous paintings in the world, along with the name of the series “Ceilings of Heaven” and the inscription “500 Years Sistine Chapel Ceiling” that celebrate the anniversary. When the past joins the future: the Sistine Chapel ceiling is entirely depicted on the Nano Chip embedded in the coin, realized with cutting-edge technology able to reproduce all details visible in full with a microscope. The antique finish and the deep relief complete this masterpiece and make this coin unique. The coins are issued as legal tender in the Cook Islands. The obverse of each coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
