    Banknote information:
    This series of 15 banknotes are designed in the concept “Chakri Dynasty” is to focus on honoring the Thai King in the Chakri Dynasty. It has been released since 1997.

    This 50 baht banknote, Type 15, Series 2 is similar to the previous 50 baht banknote. But the difference is that the use of printed materials is paper. Because polymer banknotes are not popular. The second batch of banknotes was announced on March 19, 2004 and exchanged on October 1, 2004.

    It has a pattern similar to the first 15th series of 50 baht banknotes, but differs in the scope of the watermark gap. In addition, on the 2nd edition of this banknote, a stable stripe is embedded in the paper vertically in the position of the Thai government text. And the star pattern on the original banknote has been changed to the number 50 that will be completely visible when raised to shine.
