On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Golden Jubilee in the reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1996, the Bank of Thailand saw It is expedient to issue commemorative banknotes to commemorate this auspicious occasion. The BOT ordered these banknotes to be printed from the Australian banknote printing house. The overall tone of this commemorative banknote is green and yellow. Distinctive with glittering gold at the watermark point. The front of the banknote is a portrait of His Majesty King Rama IX wearing royal robes. sitting above the royal throne When His Highness walked along the city by a royal parade On the lower right is a picture of a pantomime from the Narai Song Suban Royal Barge, a new royal barge built during his reign.
