The reverse – center of the coin bears the Asian Institute of Technology insignia. At the bottom there is a message telling the price and the message “OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT”. “In honor of bringing the countryside to Wattana” below is the message “20 July 1987”.
