2021 – Chiwoo Cheonwang 1oz Silver Colored BU Medal w/ Glow in the Dark Effect

On the obverse of the 2021 South Korean Silver Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals is a depiction of the battle shield carried by Chiwoo. Known in Korean mythology as the God of War, Chiwoo rules a large empire and must protect his kingdom from the forces of evil, both from the mortal and immortal realms. The design of his battle shield features the horrific figure of Do ggae bi, a beast similar to the hobgoblin of Western cultures.

The reverse side of the 2021 1 oz Silver Chiwoo Cheonwang Medal comes with an image of the God of War himself. Here, Chiwoo is shown wearing all of his battle armor as he prepares his armies for battle. Chiwoo is ready to defend his empire as he sounds the drums of war. He won’t be in this fight alone either, as you can see several members of the Zi:Sin, or 12 Guardians, standing behind him ready to assist in the fight.
