    The Treasury Department has issued a commemorative coin. On the auspicious occasion of the royal coronation ceremony His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej
    on July 2, 1988. Characteristics of the  coin is round, the outer rim has a gear wheel in front. – The rim of the coin is a 9-sided shape, in the middle of the coin is the image of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Bhumibol Adulyadej IX wearing his robes The left edge of the coin reads: “Bhumibol Adulyadej” on the right side has the inscription “Rama IX” on the reverse side – the rim of the coin is octagonal, the center of the coin has the monogram “Phor Por” under Phra Maha Mongkut Yod Pradit Rasmi.
